Ingredients

-2-3 pounds of roast beef -1 yellow onion, diced -2 cloves of garlic, minced -1 cup beef broth -1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce -1/4 cup balsamic vinegar -1/4 cup soy sauce -2 tablespoons of brown sugar -1 tablespoon of garlic powder -1 teaspoon of dried thyme -1 teaspoon of black pepper -2 tablespoons of olive oil -1/2 cup of mayonnaise -1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard -2 tablespoons of chopped parsley -4-6 slices of provolone cheese -8 hamburger buns

Instructions

1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. 2. Add the diced onion and garlic, and sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until the onion is softened and beginning to brown. 3. Add the roast beef to the skillet and cook for another 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently. 4. Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, dried thyme, and black pepper to the skillet. 5. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 6. Transfer the roast beef mixture to the crock pot. 7. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the roast beef is tender. 8. Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and chopped parsley. Set aside. 9. When the roast beef is done, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. 10. Place the hamburger buns on a baking sheet and spread the mayonnaise mixture on top. 11. Place a slice of provolone cheese on each bun. 12. Divide the roast beef evenly among the buns and top with the remaining slices of cheese. 13. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. 14. Serve hot and enjoy!
