- 8 ounces fettuccine noodles, cooked according to package directions

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, combine the Cajun seasoning, olive oil, and chicken broth. Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts in the crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 6-8 hours.

2. Once the chicken is cooked through, remove it from the crock pot and shred with two forks. Set aside.

3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly. Slowly add the heavy cream and chicken broth, whisking to combine. Add the garlic powder, black pepper, and Parmesan cheese and stir to combine. Simmer the sauce for 5-7 minutes until thickened.

4. Add the shredded chicken to the saucepan and stir to combine. Pour the sauce and chicken over the cooked fettuccine noodles and stir to combine.

5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
