- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
Instructions

Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, salt and pepper, and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Transfer the mixture to the crock pot and add the fresh basil. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
